3D camera for automatic part recognition

A linear drive from igus is used for the 3D camera, which is used in the packaging of furniture and is mounted at a height of 3 meters. This drive means that only one camera is needed, which can precisely reach a given position. The 3D camera is thereby mounted on a carriage from igus.

By using the linear axis in combination with the camera, a complete image processing system can be saved, since the camera is moved to the respective position. The possible travel distance is 4 meters.
